This article will focus on how to use eePDF PDF to Word OCR converter to help you to reuse text contents from scanned PDF file into MS Word application.
1. Run eePDF PDF to Word OCR converter
You can double click the icon of eePDF PDF to Word OCR converter to run this document converter, Then the following interface will appear on the screen. This interface has three main parts: the list box, five tool buttons, and group boxes. You can add, remove, and convert PDF files by clicking buttons, and set output format, page range, etc. by selecting options in the group boxes.

2 Add scanned PDF files to the list box
There are two ways to input PDF files to the list box, where you can view the file name as well as file size of every PDF file. One is to drag the PDF file or PDF files to the list box. The more complicated way is to add PDF files by clicking the [Add PDF file(S)] button > select the PDF files in the prompt and click [Open] to add them in the list box. After you add the PDF files, you can view the information in the list box as illustrated below:

3. select options
If you want to reuse or copy text contents from scanned PDF file into MS Word application, the most important option you need to select is one of the six [OCR PDF file] options. These OCR options enable your computer to recognize characters in the scanned PDF files in six languages. First you need to know what language your PDF files are written. Then, you should select the corresponding OCR option in the [Output Option] combo box. For instance, if your PDF files are written in English, you should select option 8.

4. convert from scanned PDF to editable Word document
As the output format is set to be DOC, you can directly click the [Convert] button, and save the Word documents which are converted from scanned PDF to Word in a proper directory in the dialog box as illustrated as below. After you click [OK] or [Save] in the dialog box, the computer will start converting.
If there is only one PDF file in the list box, you will see the first dialog box (Figure 4a) as illustrated as following; If you convert multiple PDF files, you will see the second dialog box (Figure 4B) as illustrated as below.

5 After conversion, the new created Word documents will be opened by default. You can edit , copy, delete the content in it.
